Important Information from the bet365 Terms and Conditions

Reading the betting terms of any operator is an important aspect of the sign-up process, make sure to know fully what you’re in for before making any commitment. The updated T&Cs from the bookie were made effective from 27th November 2018, and have been updated here since 01/02/2019. If you notice anything that appears to be incorrect or out of date, I’d love to hear from you so I can correct the issue. Please email me at info@bestbettingsites.uk if you spot anything. Also be sure to check out our bet365 reviews, on live betting, the bonuses and the mobile app. The terms of this service are constantly being revised and tinkered with, be advised that you must keep yourself imnformed with latest developments.

The bet365 T&Cs in Full

Below you’ll find the terms and conditions listed in full. I’ve added a few notes to some of the terms, elaborating on the meaning and stressing why it is important to pay particular attention to these terms. These comments are solely my views and do not reflect bet365’s position.

A. Introduction

B. Your Bet365 Account

1. Application

2. Account Details

3. Personal Details

1.3 bet365 may confirm a customer’s address by posting an address verification letter to the customer. Enclosures may include a rule book, leaflet and telebet card. All correspondence will be discreet and the envelope will not display any reference to bet365. When such correspondence is initiated, all offers and withdrawal requests may remain pending until the address has been confirmed as correct.

Comments: Since bookmakers have been made to be much more stringent with their Know Your Customer (KYC) checks, offline verification methods have become a lot more common. Other verification methods can be through checking mobile numbers via text, but postal verification like this is not unheard of.

4. Suspension and Closure

5. Dormant Accounts

C. Your Finances

1. Deposits and Wagers

2. Withdrawals

3. Other

D. Betting Procedures

1. Placing Bets/Wagers

1.1 bet365 reserves the right to decline all, or part, of any bet/wager requested at its sole and absolute discretion. All bets/wagers are placed at your own risk and discretion.

Comments: This is a fairly standard term across operators, but one that you should be aware of. There have been some disputes from punters over the years over some big money bets that appeared to have won but have been disputed as not valid by a bookmaker. Be aware then that all bets are placed at the total discretion of bet365.

2. Bet/Wager Confirmation

3. Offers

4. Settlement and Payouts

E. Use of the Website

1. Information and Content

2. Your Equipment

3. Fair Use

4. Software and Technology Issues

5. Third Party Content

6. Errors

6.1 bet365 will not be liable for any errors in respect of bets or wagers including where:

I. there is an obvious error in the relevant odds/spreads/handicap/totals/Cash Out amount displayed by bet365;

II.bet365 continues to accept bets or wagers on closed or suspended markets;

III.bet365 incorrectly calculates or pays a settlement amount, including where a bet is Cashed Out for the full settlement amount; or

IV.any error occurs in a random number generator or pay tables included, incorporated or used in any game or product.

Comments: If there’s any mistake made by the bookmaker when setting odds (imagine for example that you find listed on the site Arsenal are 100/1 to win against Gillingham), then even if the bet is accepted at this price, once the bookmaker realises they have made a mistake, they are within their rights to void the bet and cancel your winnings.

G. Our Intellectual Property Rights
